Hi, I'm Federica

I am a freelance fashion journalist with an academic background in Chinese studies.

After graduating in Comparative Languages and Literatures - English and Mandarin - at the University of Naples "L'Orientale", I moved to London to study at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, where I passed with distinction the VOGUE Fashion Certificate. My final project, focused on the launch of a potential editorial product by Condé Nast China, also earned me the Award for Excellence in Fashion Media.

I broke into the fashion industry gaining experience in worldwide acknowledged magazines, such as British VOGUE, Harper's Bazaar UK, Grazia UK, House & Garden and Brides. Since 2017, I have been contributing to ELLE Italy as digital fashion editor. I have also been published by Vanity Fair, Gioia!, Cosmopolitan, Rivista Studio, Donna Moderna, NSS Magazine and Jing Daily.

I also work with luxury brands as a communication consultant and copywriter. I have been Communication Executive at Chitè Milano from 2020 to 2022, and I am now copywriter and digital content producer at Gianvito Rossi.

Pushed by the desire to merge two worlds together - my past as a Chinese language student and my present as a fashion journalist, - in April 2021 I launched Moda in China, the 1° Italian newsletter about Chinese fashion.
